Fishing in the Snake River Canyon

 

Below South Park bridge the Snake takes on a canyon feel as it heads south and meets up with the Hoback river in Hoback Junction, from there it heads deeper in to beautiful Snake river canyon. On this stretch of river the fish tend to hold along the banks and behind big rocks.

 

This section is a must do during the fall for its fiery red bush lined canyon walls. The fishing is pretty darn good as well.
